Job summary

RTX is seeking a Principal Embedded Real-Time Software Developer/Integrator for our Software organization’s Effectors Center, onsite in Tucson, AZ. You will architect, implement, test, and deploy software for FPGA and embedded systems, integrating firmware, hardware and software within a cross-discipline IPT.

The role requires STEM degree and 8+ years of experience, and the ability to obtain Interim Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Degree in STEM fields and 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with embedded C++ and RTOS environments.
• Ability to obtain Interim Secret U.S. government clearance.
• Experience integrating hardware, firmware, and software.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, implement, test, and debug embedded real-time software for FPGA and hardware.
• Collaborate with cross-discipline teams to improve concepts and quality.
• Mentor less experienced staff and contribute to reviews.
• Support proposals and design reviews.
• Maintain program access and security compliance.
