RTX is seeking a Senior Principal Embedded Real-Time Software Developer/Integrator for an onsite Tucson, AZ role. You will architect, design, implement, test, and deploy embedded software for FPGA/hardware integration within a fast-paced, agile environment.

A strong emphasis on safety, mission assurance, and collaboration with cross-disciplinary teams is required. The role requires a STEM degree with 10+ years of relevant experience, expertise in embedded C++, software architecture, and RTOS,

Qualifications

• Requires STEM degree and 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in embedded C++ software and software architecture.
• Experience with RTOS (Green Hills, Integrity, VxWorks, Linux).
• Active Secret clearance; ability to obtain program access.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, implement, test, debug, and deploy embedded real-time software.
• Collaborate with cross-functional IPT teams across hardware and firmware.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers.
• Support design reviews and proposals.
