RTX is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer II for the Goleta campus to join the Secure Product Assurance/Sensors Space and Air Software team. You will design, code, test real-time embedded software for radar, sensors, guidance and fire-control systems, collaborating across disciplines to deliver robust solutions.

The role requires a Master’s degree in STEM, strong C/C++ skills, RTOS experience, and a track record in software development lifecycle activities.

Competenze

Master’s degree in STEM from an accredited institution.
Experience developing and testing software using C/C++ or similar OO language.
Strong OO design knowledge and real-time embedded software development experience.
Hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Experience in a team-based development environment with good communication.

Mansioni

Work on complex problems and collaborate to provide innovative solutions.
Engage in all phases of the software lifecycle, incl. SW/HW integration.
Assist in deriving system and software requirements and architectural modeling.
Design, code, unit test, integrate, and document embedded software for EW systems.
Participate in peer reviews and technical decision-making with multidisciplinary teams.
Support program execution to meet technical and schedule baselines.
