Job summary

United Launch Alliance, LLC. is seeking an Embedded Flight Software Engineer 3 in Denver to deliver real-time embedded flight control software. You will design, implement, test, and document software, mentoring others and leading major subsystems in a collaborative agile team.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in STEM, 4+ years of related experience, C/C++ expertise, Linux, OO design, and familiarity with Git. Python is a plus, with flexible benefits and ITAR compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM field from an accredited college or university.
• Experience with C and C++ programming with embedded programming/robotics exposure.
• Experience with Object Oriented Design.
• Experience with Linux.
• Familiarity with Git and software configuration management.
• Experience with AI-assisted tooling in development.

Responsibilities

• Act as a hands-on developer to deliver real-time capabilities for an embedded flight control system.
• Design, develop and document software products using modern principles.
• Develop across the full software lifecycle with tests and integration.
• Collaborate in an agile environment supporting flight software development.
• Mentor less-experienced engineers and lead major subsystems.
