Job summary

Ursa Major in Colorado is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain flight software powering engines, vehicles, and avionics. Work on a small, high-impact team delivering reliable, safe software for aerospace propulsion systems.

You'll collaborate across disciplines, review designs, and debug hardware–software integration, using embedded C/C++ on ARM/SoC/FPGA platforms, with hands-on tools like oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.

Qualifications

• BS degree in CS/CE/EE or related field.
• 4+ years embedded C/C++ on ARM/SoC/FPGA platforms.
• Hardware interface programming and debugging with tools.
• Proficient with schematics and Git.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain embedded software for avionics.
• Develop ground support software tools and systems.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver new features.
• Document designs, code, and procedures for maintainability.
• Debug and support software/hardware integration.
