Silvus Technologies, a subsidiary of Motorola Solutions, seeks a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to develop MANET radios and advanced research projects. You will work on device drivers, networking, encryption, and security features at our West Los Angeles headquarters on a hybrid schedule.

The role requires 5+ years in embedded software, C programming expertise, and Linux kernel driver experience. On-site days include Monday, Wednesday, Thursday. Travel: none.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant field.
• 5+ years of embedded software development experience.
• Expertise in C programming and Linux kernel driver development.

Responsabilités

• Develop low-latency embedded firmware on ARM-based SoCs and optimize Linux networking stacks.
• Implement MAC and MANET routing protocol software components.
• Develop test software for performance and reliability testing.
• Collaborate with hardware and systems teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions.
