Silvus Technologies, a leading provider of advanced MANET and MIMO communications systems, seeks a Senior Embedded Software Engineer for its West Los Angeles HQ. You will develop low-latency firmware for ARM-based SoCs and optimize Linux networking stacks for wireless applications.

Reporting to the Director of Software Engineering, this hybrid role requires a minimum of 3 onsite days weekly and involves MAC/MANET protocol software, testing tools, and collaboration across engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant engineering fields.
• 5+ years of embedded system software development experience.
• Expertise in C programming and Linux kernel driver development.
• Must be a U.S. Person due to clients under U.S. federal contracts.
• Background check and drug test required.

Responsabilités

• Develop highly efficient low-latency embedded firmware on ARM-based SoCs (e.g., UltraScale+), and optimize Linux-based networking stacks for wireless applications.
• Implement software portion of MAC and mobile ad-hoc networking routing protocols.
• Develop testing software for product performance and reliability testing.
• Perform other related duties as needed.
