Job summary

Serco Inc. seeks an Experienced Electrical Engineer to support NSWC PCD in Panama City, FL. You will lead mixed-signal hardware design, develop schematics and PCB layouts, and ensure EMI/EMC compliance while bringing up hardware prototypes.

Your role includes embedded software in C/C++, Spice simulations, and rigorous hardware testing across a multi-disciplinary team to deliver mission-critical systems.

Qualifications

• Active Interim Secret Clearance with ability to obtain/maintain TS/SCI clearance.
• US Citizenship.
• Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
• 5 years of similar/related experience.
• 3 years of embedded hardware design and full product lifecycle experience.
• Moderate proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of mixed-signal hardware systems including microcontrollers and power management.
• Create detailed schematics and PCB layouts using industry-standard tools.
• Ensure adherence to signal integrity, power integrity, EMI/EMC.
• Implement microprocessors using C/C++.
• Run Spice simulations (LTspice, Pspice).
• Assemble, test, and bring up hardware prototypes.
• Use lab equipment to verify performance.
• Develop hardware test plans, thermal and reliability testing.
• Troubleshoot hardware issues to component level.
• Create and maintain engineering documentation (design specs, BOMs, schematics).
