Job summary

LMK Recruiting Solutions seeks a Senior Embedded Systems & Controls Engineer to design and own supervisory logic governing how subsystems communicate, react under pressure, and fail safely. You will work in a lab with real hardware and a flight controller, owning the end-to-end system.

The role requires strong C/C++, MATLAB/Simulink model-based design, and hands-on lab experience within safety-critical contexts. Expect lab work and end-to-end ownership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years writing embedded software for real-time hardware systems.
• Hands-on lab work in safety-critical environments.
• Experience with CAN/SPI and fault handling.

Responsibilities

• System Control & Logic — Architect core state machines for power-up, flight operations, and fault recovery
• Embedded Development — Write safety-critical C/C++ and model-based designs in MATLAB/Simulink
• Hardware Bring-Up — Test on real boards, debug with scopes/logic analyzers, ensure deterministic runs
• Communication Architecture — Design how subsystems talk over CAN, SPI, and Ethernet
