Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Safety-Critical Control Systems Engineer to develop and integrate safety-critical control systems for unmanned and optionally manned ground vehicles. You will work with cross-functional teams on requirements, system architecture, SysML modeling, and software integration.

The role emphasizes embedded controls software in C/C++, Simulink, and vehicle networks (CAN Bus, Ethernet), with opportunities to support prototype and production programs, validation, and supplier testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
• 3+ years of related systems, controls, software, or vehicle engineering experience.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate safety-critical control systems for unmanned and optionally manned ground vehicles.
• Support systems engineering activities, including requirements development, system architecture, SysML modeling, and software integration.
• Develop, test, and troubleshoot embedded controls software using C/C++, Simulink, and vehicle communication networks such as CAN Bus and Ethernet.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to support prototype and production vehicle programs, including validation, supplier testing, and customer support.
