LMK Recruiting Solutions seeks a Senior Embedded Systems & Controls Software Engineer to design supervisory logic across subsystems, working hands-on with hardware in a flight-controlled environment. You will own end-to-end behavior from lab to flight controller.

This role emphasizes real-time embedded development in C/C++, model-based design with MATLAB/Simulink, and hardware bring-up to ensure safe, fault-tolerant operation in safety-critical systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years writing embedded software for real-time, physical hardware systems
• Hands-on work in lab with real hardware and flight controllers
• Experience with safety-critical design and development processes

Responsibilities

• Architect core state machines for power-up, flight operations, and fault recovery
• Write safety-critical C/C++ code and use MATLAB/Simulink for model-based design
• Bring-up hardware in lab, debug with scopes/logic analyzers, ensure predictable runs
