Qualifications

• 5 to 10 years of embedded control software experience in real-time systems.
• Proficiency in embedded C/C++ and real-time software architecture.
• Experience designing system-level control logic, state machines, and sequencing.
• Hands-on with CAN, SPI, Ethernet, or ARINC interfaces.
• MATLAB/Simulink for model-based design; SIL/HIL testing experience.
• Proven ability to integrate software across hardware, firmware and systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and own system-level control architecture spanning actuators, power sequencing, and state management.
• Develop supervisory logic, state machines, and safe power-up/power-down behavior.
• Define interfaces and ICDs for CAN, ARINC, and other buses.
• Use MATLAB/Simulink to model, validate, and simulate control logic across MIL/SIL/HIL.
• Lead integration, test, and bring-up with hardware; diagnose cross-domain issues.
• Contribute to safety processes and documentation per DO-178C/ARP4754/4761.
