Schindler is seeking a Field Superintendent for New Installations to lead elevator project teams from start to finish, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery. You will coordinate with contractors, customers, and internal groups to align on project goals.

The role requires strong leadership, problem solving, and communication skills, with a bias for safety and continuous improvement. A fast-paced environment and on-call flexibility are expected.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in elevator or construction fields.
• 5+ years of technical leadership experience or elevator industry experience.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills; ability to manage sensitive employee relations.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Strong organizational skills and experience managing tradespeople.
• Flexibility to be on call.
• Adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Aufgaben

• Oversee all phases of elevator installation projects to ensure quality, safety, and cost control.
• Lead and develop a field technician team of 12–20 personnel.
• Coordinate job site readiness, schedules, parts/materials, and payroll accuracy.
• Serve as key contact for contractors, customers, and internal teams to support regional objectives.
• Monitor installation progress and drive efficiency with regular site visits and communication.
• Ensure projects meet contractual, company, and safety requirements.
