Schindler in Chicago seeks an Associate Field Superintendent-Existing Installation to lead on-site technical operations, ensure safety, and deliver quality service. You will supervise technicians, address customer requirements, and drive profitability while applying Schindler’s safety and quality standards.

The role requires a BS/AS or Journeyman background with 3+ years in elevators or related systems, strong communication, and PC skills.

Formación

• BS/AS degree in Engineering or Business with prior technical sales experience preferred; or, Journeyman Technician experience with minimum 5 years in field.
• Minimum 3 years experience in either the elevator industry or in a related building systems industry.
• Excellent PC skills; strong communication, interpersonal, problem-solving and negotiating abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Lead field technicians and build a collaborative team environment.
• Manage training and development of field technicians on established processes, tools and standards.
• Foster excellent communication among team members and maintain strong relations with the local union.
• Ensure service, maintenance and repair work meets quality and safety standards and contract requirements.
• Support the local sales team in estimating service orders, scheduling and executing orders, and resolving customer complaints.
• Develop teamwork and dedication to quality across all staff.
