Job summary

Abbott is seeking a skilled Clinical Specialist for its Electrophysiology (EP) business to provide advanced engineering, sales, educational and clinical support for complex EP inquiries. You will build strong relationships with physicians, healthcare professionals and field staff while delivering trainings and product demonstrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience.
• Prior industry/competitive experience (if external).
• IBHRE EP certified.
• Ability to mentor and train EP CS roles and CA CS roles on complex mapping cases.
• Ability to conduct complex customer education events solo to sell the value proposition of the full EP portfolio.
• Verification that you will satisfy all vendor credentialing requirements, including vaccination for COVID-19.

Responsibilities

• Acts as senior clinical interface between the medical community and the business.
• Demonstrates ability to build and sustain credible business relationships with customers.
• Identifies reports and advises of customer needs, product performance and potential sales opportunities to sales representatives and management.
• Provides engineering, sales, education and clinical support for complex EP inquiries.
• Develops, leads and/or facilitates trainings on EP products to healthcare professionals.
• Provides regional EP procedural coverage.
• Mentors and provides leadership for less experienced Clinical Specialists.
