Job summary

Abbott is seeking an EP Clinical Specialist to provide advanced engineering, medical, and educational support for EP products to physicians, nurses and sales teams across the region.

You will work independently, build strong customer relationships, lead trainings, and contribute to strategic product feedback while traveling up to 50% of the time. A clinical EP background and IBHRE certification or willingness to obtain it are required.

Qualifications

• Requires a minimum of 1 year in previous position.
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience (internal or external).
• Prior industry/competitive experience (if external).
• Solely dedicated to EP support.
• IBHRE EP certified or willing to become certified.
• Top performer among peers.
• Ability to perform complex EP cases solo.
• Ability to mentor EP CS/CA CS on complex mapping.
• Ability to conduct complex customer education events solo.
• Top 1/2 in cases completed in the region at promotion time.
• Vendor credentialing requirements may include vaccination for COVID-19.
• Prepare for accommodations discussion with HR if needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced engineering, sales, educational and technical support for EP products.
• Work with physicians, health care professionals, patients and field staff.
• Identify best business practices and improve processes.
• Exercise independent judgment in planning and performing work.
• Build and sustain credible relationships with customers and product experts.
• Lead trainings and programs on EP products for healthcare professionals.
• Provide market feedback to management for next-gen products.
• Support regional EP procedures and back-up sales activities.
• Mentor less experienced Clinical Specialists.
