Job summary

Form Energy, a leader in scalable energy storage, seeks a Senior Electronics Test Engineer to join the AMU hardware verification team. You will execute design verification and validation testing for the AMU PCBA, its panel assembly, and power-related components.

You will collaborate with hardware, firmware, and systems engineers to validate designs, develop test strategies, automate tests with Pytest, and drive robust fault analysis and reporting. Relocation is available.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in PCBA hardware testing; board- and system-level validation
• 2+ years in firmware verification; proficient with Pytest and Linux
• Hands-on with test instrumentation and HV/HC test gear
• Understand CAN-FD, Ethernet, RS485 and safety frameworks
• Able to manage test plans and report findings

Responsibilities

• Develop test plans, DVP&Rs, and verification protocols for the AMU PCBA
• Validate CAN-FD, Ethernet, RS485 interfaces
• Design test setups for sensing subsystems voltage/current/temps
• Verify HV contactor control and power routing
• Test Hardware Over-Current Protection and FuSa
• Analyze data, generate reports, root-cause issues
• Contribute to test automation to scale throughput
