Job summary

Form Energy is seeking a Senior Electronics Test Engineer to join the BMS Test team. You will lead UL991 certification activities for our BMS PCBA hardware and collaborate with hardware, firmware, systems, and compliance engineers to validate safety-critical designs.

You will architect automated test plans, design fixtures, and generate rigorous test reports to support UL auditors, with relocation assistance available as needed.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of PCBA hardware testing experience.
• Hands-on UL certification knowledge (UL991/UL1998 or IEC61508 familiarity).
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• UL Certification Ownership: lead product safety certification on BMS PCBAs and drive UL991 strategies.
• Automated PCBA Functional Testing: write and execute end-to-end automated tests for compliance.
• Test Fixture Design & Development: build fixtures for PCBAs, focusing on fault injection after UL stress testing.
