Job summary

You will mentor teams, define system architecture, and drive design standards across power tool electronics. You will collaborate with mechanical, hardware, and software groups to deliver safe, high-quality products, conduct design reviews, and lead fault analysis and continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering.
• 12+ years of experience in electronics design within a relevant industry.
• 5+ years of experience managing, coaching, and developing individuals within a similar discipline.
• Strong knowledge of electronics and electrical systems across analog and digital domains.
• Experience with embedded systems; battery management, chargers, and motor control are desirable.
• Knowledge in switch-mode power supply design, electric motor controls, lithium-ion battery management, and AC/DC/BLDC motors.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and maintain technical standards and procedures to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Set and drive system architecture for new product development with cross-functional teams.
• Lead continuous improvement of design processes and methodologies.
• Manage tasks based on project schedules in a fast-paced environment and mitigate scope creep.
• Collaborate with mechanical, hardware, and software teams for seamless electronic system integration.
• Conduct design reviews focusing on safety, quality, and engineering best practices.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams developing electronic hardware for power tools.
• Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis across products and platforms.
