Stanley Black & Decker Towson, MD seeks a Lead Engineer, Electronics System Engineer to set system architecture and standards for new products. You’ll mentor teams, collaborate with mechanical, hardware, and software groups, and drive design reviews focusing on safety and quality.

The role requires a strong background in analog/digital design, embedded systems, PCB layout, and experience in battery management and fault-tolerant design. On-site with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 12+ years of electronics design experience in relevant industry.
• 5+ years of experience managing and developing engineers.
• Strong knowledge of analog and digital circuits, embedded systems, and PCB layout.
• Understanding of electronics manufacturing, fault-tolerant design, and battery management.

Responsibilities

• Define system architecture and engineering standards for new products.
• Review designs and ensure safety, quality, and best practices.
• Mentor engineering teams developing electronic hardware for power tools.
• Collaborate with mechanical, hardware, and software teams for integration.
• Lead design reviews and support root cause analysis.
