Job summary

The role collaborates with cross-functional teams to design new platforms, build prototypes, document schematics, and test procedures. A Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering and 2+ years of hardware experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
• 2+ years of electronics design experience in a relevant industry.
• Familiar with analog hardware design, DFMEA, tolerance stack-up, and failure analysis.
• Digital design experience including MCU selection, protocols, and power budgeting.
• Board bring-up and troubleshooting with oscilloscopes, probes, DMMs, spectrum analyzers and VNAs.
• Good communication and ability to self-prioritize tasks.
• Altium Designer experience is a plus. LTSpice is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Implement wireless connectivity hardware for professional power tool products.
• Learn product development milestones from concept through design, mass manufacturing, and lifecycle support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design new products and platforms.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, schematics, and reports.
• Build and test prototypes with technicians to validate designs.
• Communicate major technical and schedule issues clearly to leaders and drive actions.
