Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with 1-3+ years of experience.
• Ability to dissect a problem to identify root cause and provide solutions.
• Hands-on development, prototyping, testing and debugging tools.
• Experience with 2D/3D CAD, FEA and data analysis.
• Quality methods like DOE, stack-ups and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Support design process to meet quality, performance, schedule and cost objectives.
• Hands-on concept development, prototyping, product testing, data collection and defining specs.
• Perform stack-ups and system analysis to ensure long-term product reliability.
• Investigate design issues and test failures; implement corrective actions.
• Create 3D models to evaluate design options.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define customer requirements and tests.
• Work in a core team to develop a product from start to finish with proper documentation.
• Support builds of engineering, manufacturing and pilot lots.
