Saab, Inc. is seeking an Electronics Commodity Management Professional to lead strategic sourcing activities for electronics across North America and internationally.

You will develop category strategies, negotiate first-time contracts, manage supplier lists, and drive cost reductions while ensuring risk management and supplier performance. Ideal candidates have engineering or SCM backgrounds with 8+ years of sourcing experience, strong financial/leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Supply Chain Management or Engineering or equivalent is required.
• 8+ years with BA/BS, or 6+ years with a Master’s, in Sourcing or SCM.
• Strong financial acumen related to sourcing and SCM.
• Strong electronics technical background.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Leadership and presentation skills.
• 2+ years experience with FAR/DFARS contract requirements.

Responsabilités

• Develop commodity category strategies to drive value in Quality, Delivery, Cost, Innovation, and Sustainability.
• Lead supplier identification, evaluation, selection, negotiation, and awards for new suppliers.
• Manage approved supplier list for electronics commodities.
• Support win-bid process by onboarding critical suppliers.
• Analyze data to understand current supply base and categories.
• Perform market research and analyze trends for electronics categories.
• Identify risks and opportunities in electronics via SWOT and risk assessments.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to plan near and long-term needs.
• Create an adaptable supply chain for electronics commodities.
• Lead supplier evaluations to understand supplier capabilities and processes.
• Conduct spend analysis and drive cost reduction initiatives.
• Participate in Quarterly Business Reviews for critical suppliers.
• Support Small Business objectives and promote diverse supply base.
• Collaborate to develop supplier evaluation and scoring system.
• Develop or modify SOPs and work instructions.
