Saab AB is seeking an Electronics Commodity Management Professional to lead strategic sourcing for electronics across North America and internationally as needed. Ideal candidates bring a strong electronics background, a BA/BS in a related field, and 6–8 years of sourcing/SCM experience, with travel up to 25%.

Qualifikationen

• BA/BS in Supply Chain Management or Engineering required.
• 8+ years with BA/BS or 6+ years with Master’s in Sourcing/SCM expected.
• Strong financial acumen related to sourcing and supply chain.
• Strong electronics background.

Aufgaben

• Develop commodity category strategies to drive value in Quality, Delivery, Cost, Innovation, and Sustainability within the supply base.
• Lead supplier evaluation and award first-time contracts meeting multi-unit needs.
• Manage approved electronics supplier list and onboarding of critical suppliers.
• Support win-biz by vetting and onboarding key suppliers during opportunities.
• Analyze data to understand the existing supply base and electronics categories.
• Perform market research and trend analysis for electronics category.
• Identify risks and opportunities in electronics via SWOT and risk assessments.
• Collaborate with Saab affiliates to project near and long-term needs.
• Create adaptable supply chain for electronics commodities.
• Lead supplier evaluations to understand supplier capabilities, people, and processes.
• Conduct spend analysis and drive cost reduction initiatives through supplier agreements.
• Participate in Quarterly Business Reviews for critical suppliers.
• Support Saab’s Small Business objectives and promote diverse supplier base.
• Develop and maintain supplier evaluation and scoring systems for data-driven decisions.
• Develop or update standard operating procedures and work instructions.
