Job summary

Serco Inc. (Special Programs Division) seeks a SME Systems Engineer specializing in aircraft sub-system integration, airworthiness, and electronic warfare to support USAF programs at Wright Patterson AFB, OH.

You will apply engineering principles to classified efforts and coordinate with contractors and Government counterparts. The role requires a TOP-SECRET clearance with SCI access, a Master’s Degree in Engineering, and 20+ years in DoD-related work, including SAP/SCI experience within the

Qualifications

• Active TOP-SECRET security clearance with SCI access and SAP eligibility.
• Master's Degree in Engineering with 20+ years of DoD-related experience.
• Minimum 3 years SAP or SCI experience within the last 5 years.
• Travel up to 10% CONUS.

Responsibilities

• Be SME in electronic warfare and systems engineering for classified programs.
• Translate operational requirements into contract system requirements documents.
• Apply SE expertise for hardware/software development and configuration management.
• Develop technical briefings and engineering strategies/analyses.
• Interface with contractors, vendors, and Government representatives on engineering activities.
• Assess AFRL tech initiatives to guide investments and transition strategies.
• Develop system-of-systems architectures and digital transformation plans.
• Ensure airworthiness, risk management, and obsolescence tracking processes.
• Support all phases of subsystem and system-level integration and testing.
