Job summary

Diversified is seeking an ESS Installation Technician to perform a wide range of installation duties on technology projects in client buildings. The role requires coordinating with project management and field teams to interpret drawings and complete rack builds, terminations, device installation, testing, and troubleshooting.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of hands-on installation experience with access control and video surveillance, plus Lenel certification preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience installing access control and video surveillance in large commercial environments.
• Lenel certification is preferred.
• Must understand access control/CCTV systems and be able to troubleshoot installations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain BOM knowledge and material requirements for each job.
• Manage job schedules and communicate timelines with the Site Supervisor.
• Coordinate with project management, field superintendents, and subcontractors.
• Document issues, changes, and site readiness in One Note.
• Assist installation technicians and mentor junior staff when needed.
• Ensure safety compliance and proper use of PPE on site.
