Job summary

General Dynamics Electric Boat seeks an experienced engineer to lead electromechanical device projects critical to the system. You will drive requirements, evaluations, and coordination across design, construction, installation, and test teams.

You will manage subcontractors, troubleshoot issues, and deliver scheduled milestones while sharing insights at executive meetings and mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications

• BS degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• 5+ years of post-graduate engineering experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop, communicate, and verify requirements.
• Lead multidisciplinary engineering evaluations.
• Support design, construction, installation, test, certification, and delivery activities.
• Provide subcontractor management.
• Perform engineering troubleshooting.
• Develop and work to detailed schedules.
• Prepare and deliver presentations at quarterly execution meetings.
• Provide technical expertise to component engineers.
