Job summary

General Dynamics Electric Boat in Groton, CT seeks a supervisor for the Ship Control group, responsible for Fly-by-Wire and safety-critical electronic assemblies. You will lead engineers and technicians, coordinate across shipyard sites and disciplines, and drive design integration and field modifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (B.S. or higher).
• 4+ years of electronics experience.
• 2+ years of leadership responsibility.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Ship Control group of 17 engineers and technicians.
• Coordinate with CWS, Groton and Quonset Point shipyards, EB facilities, and other engineering disciplines.
• Prepare and coordinate meetings for construction and installation of EDMs/design models and block builds.
• Develop and oversee skill and competency development for the team.
