Job summary

General Dynamics Electric Boat seeks an Engineering Supervisor - Electronics Development Tech in Groton, CT. The role leads the Ship Control group, coordinating design, integration and field repairs for high-precision, safety-critical submarine electronics.

Qualified candidates will have a BS in engineering, 4+ years in electronics, and at least 2 years in leadership, with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (required).
• 4+ years of experience in electronics.
• 2+ years of leadership responsibility.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Ship Control group (17 engineers and MDA technicians).
• Coordinate meetings for design, integration and block build transitions.
• Lead in process improvement and budget/schedule adherence.
• Develop employee skills and briefing packages for field repairs.
