Job summary

General Dynamics Electric Boat in Groton, CT, seeks an Engineering Supervisor to lead the Ship Control group within the Electronic Development Lab. You will oversee a team of 17 engineers and technicians, drive quality, coordinate with CWS departments and shipyards, and ensure timely delivery of flight-critical electronics for submarine systems.

The role requires a BS in engineering, 4+ years in electronics, 2+ years of leadership, and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's of Science degree or higher in engineering.
• 4+ years of experience in electronics.
• 2+ years of leadership responsibility.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance through the Department of Defense.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Ship Control group comprising engineers and technicians.
• Develop staff skills and competency through mentoring and training.
• Prepare briefing packages for field repairs and submarine in-service modifications.
• Coordinate meetings for construction, installation of engineering design models, technical integration and block build transitions.
