Job summary

Northrop Grumman seeks an Electromechanical Engineer to join the AESA Subsystem & Product Leadership team in Linthicum, MD. The role focuses on installed performance, RF modeling, and mechanical design for complex electromechanical systems.

You will contribute to design, prototyping, testing, and production support across full life-cycle programs while collaborating with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and internal stakeholders in a fast-moving, technically demanding environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with strong mechanical/electromechanical emphasis.
• Experience with RF subsystems and AESA design is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to mentor junior engineers and lead IPT activities.

Responsibilities

• Design, prototyping, testing, and production support for AESA and RF systems.
• Collaborate across RF design, systems engineering, thermal and materials teams within IPT.
• Engage suppliers to develop components and mitigate risk.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to more junior staff.
