RTX is seeking a Senior Test Systems Technician in Cheshire, CT. You will be essential in ensuring equipment reliability, supporting engineering development, and contributing to safety, precision, and continuous improvement across aerospace test systems.

Lead troubleshooting, maintenance, and debugging of complex electrical and electromechanical test stations, with opportunities for leadership and process improvement.

Qualifikationen

• Must have AA/AS degree with 8+ years relevant experience.
• Hands-on experience with electronic and electro‑mechanical test systems.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, mechanical drawings.
• Must be adept in using all types of electronic test equipment, such as oscilloscopes and multimeters.
• Experience identifying failure root cause down to the component level.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools for reporting, documentation, and data analysis.

Aufgaben

• Perform troubleshooting, repair, overhaul, and preventive maintenance on electrical and electro‑mechanical test systems.
• Execute advanced fabrication, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance across electrical and electromechanical equipment.
• Perform detailed diagnostics using oscilloscopes, multimeters, function generators and other instruments; isolate faults to component level.
• Understand mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems for testing or maintenance.
• Drive corrective actions, source components, and validate through testing.
• Develop and refine maintenance procedures and workflows to improve uptime.
• Learn and operate all assigned test machines and ensure test station availability.
