Job summary

Collins Aerospace, a RTX company, is seeking a Senior Test Systems Technician to support, repair, and maintain a wide range of electrical and electro-mechanical test equipment at our Cheshire, CT facility. You will perform diagnostics, maintenance, and corrective actions, develop procedures, and ensure test stations meet engineering specifications.

Qualifications

• AA/AS degree or equivalent with 8 years of experience.
• Hands-on experience with electronic and electro-mechanical test systems.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and drawings.
• Knowledge of electronic test equipment and schematics.
• Experience identifying root causes down to component level.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office for reporting and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, overhaul, and preventive maintenance on electrical and electro-mechanical test systems.
• Fabricate, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a wide range of electrical and electro-mechanical equipment.
• Diagnostics using oscilloscopes, multimeters, function generators; isolate faults to component level.
• Identify replacement parts and source components; validate with functional testing.
• Develop maintenance procedures and troubleshooting workflows to improve uptime.
• Maintain and repair test machines including pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical subsystems.
• Configure test stations per specifications to ensure test integrity and compliance.
