Job summary

Millennium Space Systems in El Segundo, CA is seeking a Senior Electro-Mechanical Technician for 1st shift to support space-flight sub-systems manufacturing. You will assemble PCB assemblies into chassis, interpret drawings, and use precision tools to ensure quality.

Onsite work is required, with potential shift variability to meet program needs. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 3+ years reading aerospace manufacturing plans, and the ability to lift 20 lbs or more and stand for

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 3+ years reading blueprints and following aerospace manufacturing instructions.
• Capable of lifting 20 lbs or more frequently.
• Ability to stand/move for extended periods while handling products.

Responsibilities

• Electro-Mechanical assembly of PCB assemblies into product chassis.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and SOPs to assemble hardware.
• Use torque wrenches, micrometers and calipers for precise measurements.
• Inspect assemblies against drawings and specs for quality conformance.
• Document non-conformances and perform rework/repair as needed.
• Solder and rework through-hole and SMT components.
• Support conformal coat, masking, epoxy application and coating.
