Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Maintenance Technician III to support our Rocky Mount, VA operations. The role focuses on diagnosing and repairing electro-mechanical equipment, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring safe, efficient production processes.

Requirements include an associate degree or equivalent experience, 3–7 years in manufacturing maintenance, and proficiency with Word/Excel.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• 3-7 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of Lock-Out, Tag-Out procedures and safety policies.
• Able to work standby, odd hours and overtime as required.
• Proficient in Word and Excel; able to read blueprints and schematics.
• Willingness to attend training and assist Level I/II Technicians.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex electro-mechanical problems on manufacturing equipment.
• Setup equipment, adjust recipes and control parameters.
• Repair and maintain mechanical components; repair electrical control circuits and PLCs.
• Monitor spare parts usage and perform preventative maintenance tasks.
• Enter work completed into the maintenance system and coordinate with QA.
• Train Level I and II technicians on complex tasks.
