Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Maintenance Technician III to support manufacturing operations in Rocky Mount, VA. This electro-mechanical role requires diagnosing and repairing complex equipment, setting up machinery with recipe changes, and maintaining mechanical and electrical components for optimal performance.

You will troubleshoot PLCs, control circuits, sensors, and pneumatic systems, while documenting work and training Level I/II technicians.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• 3-7 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of Lock-Out/Tag-Out procedures.
• Adherence to safety policies and focus on quality.
• U willing to standby, overtime as needed.
• Proficient in Word and Excel; ability to train others.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex electro-mechanical problems on manufacturing equipment.
• Perform detailed setup on equipment including recipe changes and control adjustments.
• Repair and keep mechanical machine components in top operating condition.
• Diagnose and repair electrical control circuits, field devices, sensors, and PLCs.
• Troubleshoot PLC I/O and repair related issues.
• Maintain and repair pneumatic systems and drives; enter work in maintenance system.
