Job summary

Xerox is seeking a Production Service Technician in Montgomery, AL to service and repair large-scale production equipment on-site. You’ll diagnose issues, perform software loads, and manage maintenance while delivering excellent customer service.

This role requires electro-mechanical experience, the ability to read schematics, and physical stamina for a dynamic industrial environment. A valid driver’s license is required, and prior certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Senior electro-mechanical experience including using a multi-meter to troubleshoot electrical circuits and read electrical schematics.
• This could include past roles in electro-mechanical fields (HVAC/Cable Internet technician, Electrician, Automotive mechanic, repair or military).
• Excellent time management and reliability; punctuality is highly valued.
• Valid driver's license with appropriate insurance; MVR check is performed.
• Active, physical role requiring lifting up to 50 pounds and safe operation around electrical components.
• Certifications in relevant fields are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Offer outstanding service to clients and resolve issues per SLA to optimize satisfaction.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on large-scale production equipment using diagnostics and software loads.
• Maintain and install equipment; utilize remote resolution tools and inventory management.
• Act as primary customer contact for maintenance and production needs.
• Guide teammates on policies, procedures and best practices.
