Vertiv in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Field Engineer – Electrical Testing (NETA III/IV) to perform acceptance, commissioning, and maintenance testing on electrical power systems up to 500 kV. You will conduct short circuit, coordination, arc flash, power quality analyses; test protective relays; interpret results and author engineering reports; mentor Level I/II technicians; travel up to 75%.

Qualifications

• NETA III or IV certification in good standing.
• 7+ years of hands-on electrical testing experience in medium/high voltage.
• Strong knowledge of NETA MTS/ATS standards.
• Ability to read one-line and schematic diagrams.
• Valid driver's license with clean record; travel up to 75%.

Responsibilities

• Perform acceptance, commissioning, and maintenance testing on electrical power systems up to 500kV.
• Conduct short circuit, coordination, arc flash, and power quality analyses.
• Test and calibrate protective relays (electromechanical, solid-state, microprocessor).
• Interpret results; author engineering reports with findings and recommendations.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical system issues; mentor Level I/II technicians.
• Serve as technical lead on multi-discipline projects; ensure safety compliance.
