Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking an experienced technician to install, program, test, and maintain protective relaying and metering systems used in transmission and distribution operations.

You will interpret schematics, diagnose faults, and coordinate repairs to ensure reliability and safety of electrical infrastructure. The role requires 5+ years of electrical experience (or applicable degrees with experience), ability to travel up to 50%, and willingness to work in industrial, data center, and utility

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant electrical experience, or an associate's degree with 4+ years experience or a Bachelor's with 3+ years.
• Valid/active U.S. work authorization.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 25–50%.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, and maintain protective relaying and metering in transmission and distribution systems.
• Interpret schematics and wiring diagrams; diagnose faults and coordinate repairs.
• Test equipment setup and safe work practices; commission new relay and metering installations.
• Coordinate testing and troubleshooting with other departments and clients.
• Maintain documentation and test reports for compliance and client review.
