Job summary

Unofficial M.C. Dean is seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to lead inspection, testing, and maintenance of low and medium voltage equipment. Travel is required regionally and nationally, with international travel preferred.

The role covers installation checks, testing per NETA standards, and coordination of multiple projects from receipt to invoicing. Strong knowledge of safety standards and technical diagrams is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years electrical experience with HS Diploma/GED
• Experience reading architectural, electrical, mechanical and civil drawings to identify issues
• Knowledge of NETA ATS/MTS, NEC, NFPA 70E, OSHA safety standards

Responsibilities

• Perform acceptance and maintenance testing on electrical power distribution equipment.
• Conduct insulation resistance, power factor, contact resistance tests per NETA standards.
• Analyze test results and recommend corrective actions.
• Lead and coordinate projects onsite and in-house using company software.
• Test low and medium voltage cables, transformers, switchgear, breakers, relays and related equipment.
