M.C. Dean is seeking an experienced field service technician to lead inspection, testing, and startup of MV/LV electrical distribution equipment in field, shop, and data center environments.

You will interpret schematics, operate advanced test gear, and ensure safety in line with NETA standards. You will travel locally, regionally, and internationally as needed, mentor junior technicians, and collaborate with engineers and clients to commission systems and start-ups.

Formación

• Minimum 5+ years of relevant electrical experience with a High School Diploma/GED.
• NETA/NICET certification preferred or equivalent hands-on testing experience.
• Strong understanding of ANSI, IEEE, NETA, NFPA, NEC, and OSHA electrical safety standards.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Experience with protective relays, circuit breakers, transformers, switchgear, and related equipment.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
• Experience with acceptance and maintenance testing per NETA standards.
• Mentorship and guidance to junior technicians.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate, lead, and support multiple projects onsite and in-house.
• Test low and medium voltage cables, transformers, switchgear, breakers, and relays.
• Control material costs by eliminating wasteful practices.
• Rotate on-call duty and respond to customer emergencies in a timely manner.
• Promote continuous improvement and teamwork.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and clients to ensure commissioning and startup.
