Collins Aerospace is seeking a Test Engineering P3 Electrical Engineer in Cedar Rapids to develop and validate hardware test solutions for multi-rack automated stations. You will work with switch systems, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, DMMs and power supplies to ensure precise verification of hardware performance.

The role emphasizes collaboration with manufacturing and service centers, requires a STEM degree with 5+ years of experience (3 years for advanced degrees), and

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
• Design experience with circuit cards.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements for hardware design and develop test solutions to meet those requirements
• Troubleshoot issues with hardware designs
• Review existing hardware drawings and create new hardware documents
• Integrate a full test solution and verify test results are accurate, repeatable and reliable
• Manage configuration for hardware and all related documentation
