Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer in Test Engineering in Cedar Rapids to lead hardware/software test solutions for production facilities and external customers.

You will develop and maintain software using C#, .NET, NI TestStand, and NI LabVIEW, while designing electrical hardware drawings and documenting complex systems. Mentorship and cross-functional collaboration are key aspects of the role.

Qualifications

• 2+ years designing and supporting electrical assemblies.
• 2+ years writing or modifying software source code.
• Degree in STEM and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or advanced degree with minimum 3 years experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead troubleshooting, deployment, and maintenance of hardware and software for automated test solutions.
• Develop, update, and maintain software using C#, .NET, NI TestStand, NI LabVIEW, and TurboAtlas.
• Design and update electrical hardware drawings for circuit card assemblies, cables, test adapters, and test stations.
• Create and maintain documentation for proprietary hardware and software while ensuring confidentiality.
• Apply engineering troubleshooting techniques to diagnose root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Mentor emerging engineers by providing technical guidance and fostering skill development.
