Job summary

Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, is hiring an entry-level Manufacturing Electrical Engineer for our Bellevue, IA facility. You will support manufacturing test and processes, solving everyday problems with LEAN principles and collaboration with senior engineers.

You will learn to develop and maintain test methods, analyze data for cost reductions, and contribute to test documentation workflows under experienced mentorship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or STEM major by start date.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical interpretation of drawings and specifications with guidance from senior engineers.
• Assist in identifying and addressing design tolerance issues with the engineering team.
• Support development and execution of test plans and evaluation of test equipment designs.
• Help with capacity planning by gathering and analyzing data for staffing and equipment needs.
• Contribute to reducing test defects and improving test yields; assist root cause analysis.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related STEM major
