Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Cedar Rapids, IA, is seeking a Test Engineering P3 Electrical Engineer to design, develop, and validate hardware test solutions for aerospace products. You will analyze requirements, troubleshoot hardware designs, and document hardware configurations across multi-rack test stations.

You will work onsite with RF/digital equipment, review drawings, and ensure accurate test results while collaborating with manufacturing and service centers. Relocation may be considered.

Qualifications

• STEM degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with 3+ years.
• Design experience with circuit cards.
• Onsite role in Cedar Rapids, IA.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements for hardware design and develop test solutions to meet those requirements.
• Troubleshoot issues with hardware designs.
• Review existing hardware drawings and create new hardware documents.
• Integrate a full test solution and verify results are accurate, repeatable, and reliable.
• Manage configuration for hardware and all related documentation.
