Job summary

Jabil in Prince George, VA is hiring a Test Engineer IV (Electrical) to design, develop, and maintain test procedures, tester hardware and software for electronic circuit board production. This on-site role supports a new factory startup for large form-factor equipment, featuring high-voltage testing and complex manufacturing processes.

The candidate will participate in building the operations and training the staff, with emphasis on safety and process optimization across HV systems and test

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering and 10+ years of experience.
• Minimum 4+ years of experience with medium/high-voltage electrical testing in a high-voltage manufacturing environment.
• Experience running and setting up HIPOT tests; HIPOT certification preferred.
• Ability to ensure safe test operations and identify safety risks.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to create documentation for test technicians.

Responsibilities

• Review circuit board designs for testability requirements.
• Support manufacturing with failure analysis, tester debugging, and reduction of intermittent failures and downtime of test equipment.
• Prepare recommendations for testing and documentation to be used from design phase to initial production.
• Generate reports and analysis of test data; prepare technical reports for management.
