Job summary

Jabil is seeking a Test Engineer IV - Electrical for its Prince George, VA facility to contribute to a new factory startup focused on large form-factor equipment. The role involves designing and maintaining test procedures, and leading a team responsible for building process flow and documentation from ground up.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years in electronics test, strong HV testing experience, and expertise with HIPOT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electronics or Electrical Engineering with 10+ years of experience.
• Minimum of 4+ years of experience with medium/high-voltage electrical testing in a high-voltage manufacturing environment.
• Experience running and setting up HIPOT tests (dielectric and insulation testing).
• Ability to ensure safe test operations and identify and address safety risks.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for systems and equipment.
• Experience creating documentation for test technicians and operators.
• Understanding of high-voltage standard practices and arc flash hazards.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain test procedures, tester hardware and software for electronic circuit board production.
• Review circuit board designs for testability requirements; provide testing support and failure analysis.
• Generate reports and analysis of test data; document procedures from design to initial production.
• Direct engineering activities for development, procurement, installation and calibration of test equipment.
• Provide training in new procedures to production testing staff.
