Job summary

Jabil in Prince George, VA is seeking a Test Engineer IV to design, develop and maintain test procedures, tester hardware and software for electronic circuit board production. This role supports a new factory startup with high voltage and heavy power systems.

You will lead a team of technicians, drive improvements in test operations, ensure safety and compliance, and develop training and documentation to support manufacturing excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electronics or Electrical Engineering required; ten years of experience preferred.
• Minimum of 4+ years of experience with medium/high-voltage electrical testing in a high-voltage manufacturing environment.
• Experience running and setting up HIPOT tests (dielectric and insulation testing).
• Ability to ensure safe test operations and identify safety risks.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for systems and equipment.
• Experience creating documentation for test technicians and operators.
• Understanding of high-voltage practices including arc flash hazards.
• Completion of specialized training (OSHA, NFPA 70E, Arc Flash PPE, LOTO, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain test procedures, tester hardware and software for electronic circuit board production.
• Lead and coach technicians in testing processes and standards.
• Coordinate testing activities with manufacturing to reduce downtime and improve reliability.
• Prepare reports and documentation of test results and recommendations.
• Provide training on new procedures to production testing staff.
