Job summary

InCharge Energy is seeking an Electrical Technician IV to support service needs for customers. The role reports to the Service Manager at the local InCharge Office and will involve high-level electrical installation, commissioning, and maintenance for EV charging, solar, and battery systems.

The candidate must have a Journeyman license, 5–10 years of electrical construction experience, and the ability to travel 50–75% regionally to ensure timely, high-quality turnkey delivery.

Qualifications

• Valid electrician certification/Journeyman-level license and eligibility to be contractor of record as required.
• 5-10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial settings
• Advanced knowledge of NEC, local codes, and permit process
• Ability to read blueprints, single-line diagrams, and load calculations
• Solar PV Installer NABCEP or EVSE Installer Certification or NICET preferred
• Familiarity with commercial controls, EV Charging, and energy-management systems is a plus
• Commercial Driver’s license or ability to obtain is highly desirable
• ECAP/EVITP certifications obtainable within 120 days of hire
• Travel 50% - 75%
• Procore proficiency is a plus

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead electrical crews; assign work and verify quality.
• Pull permits, prepare and sign plans, and liaise with inspectors and authorities.
• Design, estimate, and oversee installations for service upgrades, lighting systems, panels, and controls.
• Install and wire panels, breakers, and related electrical infrastructure for commercial/industrial sites.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform preventive maintenance.
• Install, commission, and service EV charging, solar, and battery systems.
• Create and maintain project documentation in Procore and Salesforce.
• Travel to client sites and coordinate with third-party vendors as needed.
• Represent the company with professional conduct at client locations.
