Job summary

VoltaGrid in Houston, TX is seeking a Senior Electrical Systems and Maintenance Manager to lead the safe operation and maintenance of electrical systems across mobile and stationary assets. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field.
• 7–10+ years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance.
• 3+ years in a supervisory or management role.
• Strong knowledge of: Medium-voltage systems (5kV–35kV), switchgear and protective relays, power distribution systems, Motors, VFDs, MCCs, transformers and grounding systems, instrumentation and controls for process equipment, data communication systems and protocol.
• Experience with CMMS platforms and working knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage the change process for engineering design modifications, deployment of software, PLC changes, electrical protection, and safety protection systems.
• Promote and enforce an electrical safety culture and ensure OSHA/NFPA/NEC/IEEE compliance.
• Develop and manage preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs; implement reliability-centered maintenance.
• Lead staffing, training, performance reviews, and workforce planning; coordinate outages and planned maintenance windows.
• Provide technical support and participate in commissioning and startup of new electrical equipment.
• Monitor KPIs (uptime, MTBF, MTTR) and manage annual maintenance budgets.
